Precision Transmission Chain came into existence in the year 1972. Lt. S. K. Dey, who had the vision to promote self-employment in the then scenario of job scarcity, set up this Small Scale Unit.
Due to sheer hard work, immense enthusiasm and vast experience of the founder, the company started to make its mark as a reliable source of Mechanical Spares & Conveyor Chains for its customers.
Gradual expansions were undertaken from time to time and timely decisions to upgrade technology was also undertaken to have an edge to expand base. The company also developed a strong network of very reliable associates who specialised in differenrt fields of manufacturing that added to the diverse activities.
Joint efforts of strong commitment towards strict quality control and reasonable pricing policy started to show results and the company was able to get recognition as a prominent Vendor for supply of its various products to the "Indian Ordnance Factories", "National Thermal Power Corporation" and many other major Industries.
The Company is continually upgrading its manufacturing facilities by adding latest CNC and VMC Machines to cater to critical Defence Components & other Precision Components required by Major Industries.
Presently the company supplies variety of components required by various Ordnance Factories for use in 5.56 and 7.62 Automatic Rifle and other Arms and Ammunition.
Besides production of Precision Components the company has been till date manufacturing Conveyor Chains, Mechanical Spares of Plant & Machinery, Custom Built Conveyor Systems for Production Lines.
The Company is having plan to enter into Mould Manufacturing and expand its existing CNC Machine Tools infrastructure.
